Steve Tristram

Dr Stephen Tristram 

Educated in St Andrews, Dr Stephen Tristram has been an Associate Specialist in The Department of Surgery in Basingstoke, running the varicose vein and leg ulcer service, since 1976. He was involved in the development of Ultra sound guided techniques for the treatment of varicose veins and ran a large European study in 2001. He lectures widely on his interests and sits on The BUPA Consensus panel for vascular treatments. He is also Chairman of Basingstoke Rugby Club, who now run 26 teams and his other hobby is golf.
My talk today is about treatments for Venous leg problems and particularly injection techniques and tips.

Professor Syed Haq, MB.BS., BSc. (HON), Ph.D., DIC, MRCP(UK) is a Consultant Physician, Honorary Consultant Physician Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, a Senior Clinical Tutor, Imperial College University and Clinical Director of the London Preventative Medicine Centre. His expertise is wide ranging and includes Preventative Medicine, Anti-ageing and Wellness Medicine, Internal Medicine and Aesthetics. His extensive experience has been obtained through training at some of the foremost institutions in the United Kingdom (Guy’s and St.Thomas’s Hospitals) and the United States (Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and Tufts University, New England Medical Center Hospitals Inc., Boston). He is the recepient of over 23 national and international awards.

 

 

Florence Barrett-Hill

Florence Barrett-Hill

New Zealand born Florence Barrett-Hill is an internationally acclaimed dermal science educator, practitioner, researcher, and author with a vast experience covering all aspects of professional aesthetic therapy and paramedical skin care.

Florence holds over a dozen diplomas and international qualifications covering every aspect of modern skin treatment therapy, and was one of the first esthetics professionals in New Zealand to obtain the coveted European CIDESCO qualification during the 1970’s. Florence holds diploma No 2006 globally and so is a true pioneer of the CIDESCO accreditation.

 

 

Rachel Fox

Rachel entered aesthetics over eight years ago.
She acknowledges that for the first number of years she had extremely limited support from industry
And finds that still to-day, nurses are often left completely isolated finding themselves in a sink or swim situation.
 
Rachel is co-founder of Tinkable clinics, and has always openly empathised with and offered her support for those starting in the industry,
Rachel is above all, patient focused and has developed many unique skills in assessment, treatment and after care of patients.
Rachel s last presentation was for Q-Med in 2009 when she demonstrated Sub-Q and Vital.

 

  

DR APOLLONIUS ALLEN BDS, MSc, PhD, FDS RCS(Eng)

Educated at the University of Lagos, obtained first degree in 1983.  An international speaker. Became the first dental anatomist in the whole of Africa.  Having won a World Bank scholarship to carry out postdoctoral research at the University of London (QMW) in Anatomy.  A practicing Dentist in London and also teaches Anatomy on many Implant and ENT Endoscopy courses. A faculty member of Perio Implant Europe.

Tom Jordan 

Tom Jordan is the Curriculum Quality Manager in the Faculty of Business and Hospitality at Yeovil College, and has a background in the Hospitality Sector, working in London and Birmingham.
He also worked in the Middle East before moving into education at Thames Valley University and the University of Lincoln.
He looks forward to joining us and has asked us to reflect on our interactions with customers, as we prepare for the conference, suggesting that a good start point might be the statement by Friedrich Nietzsche - “There are no facts, only interpretations”!
